2010-2011 OGAP Training

The Southwest Vermont Curriculum Coordinators will sponsor additional OGAP training with Marge Petit during the 2010-2011 school year. This training will be for regional OGAP Teacher Leaders. Details will be available in the Fall of 2010.

Fountas and Pinnell

The Southwest Vermont Curriculum Coordinators Collaborative is committed to providing professional development in the use of Fountas and Pinnell reading assessments and interventions.

We are sponsoring a course in the summer of 2010 entitled: Connecting Benchmarking to Guided Reading Instruction K-6. This course is recommended for teachers using the F&P Benchmark Assessments. See the CSC website for details.

Science Units Added

We've begun to add science units to our science section. They are the work of BRSU teachers who have taken the "Best Practices in Science" course through VSI Tier II.
